提多书 第1章

壹 引言 一1~4

1:1 a照着神1 b选民的2 c信仰,与3 d合乎敬虔之真理的4 e知识,
Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the faith of God’s chosen ones and the full knowledge of the truth, which is according to godliness,
1:2 根据1 a永远生命的2 b盼望,(就是那c不能说谎的神,在3 d历世之前所4 e应许,
In the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the times of the ages
1:3 到了1 a适当的时期,借着那b按我们救主神的2命令所c托付我d传扬的福音,将3祂的ef显明出来的,)作神的g奴仆、并耶稣基督使徒的保罗,
But in its own times manifested His word in the proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the command of our Savior God;
1:4 写信给a照着1共同的信仰,作我真b孩子的c提多:愿恩典与平安,从父神和我们的救主基督耶稣归与你。
To Titus, genuine child according to the common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

贰 建立召会中的权柄 一5~9

1:5 我从前留你在a革哩底,是要你将我所未办完的事办理妥当,又照我所b吩咐你的,在1 c各城设立d长老。
For this cause I left you in Crete, that you might set in order the things which I have begun that remain and appoint elders in every city, as I directed you:
1:6 a若有人b无可指责,1只作一个妻子的丈夫,儿女是信主的,没有人告他们是c放荡、或d不服约束的,就可以设立。
If anyone is unreprovable, the husband of one wife, having believing children not accused of dissoluteness or unruly.
1:7 因为1 a监督是神的b管家,必须无可指责,不c任性,2不暴躁,3不醉酒滋事,4不打人,5不贪卑鄙的利益;
For the overseer must be unreprovable as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick tempered, not an excessive drinker, not a striker, not greedy for base gain;
1:8 1乐意待客,a喜爱良善,2清明自守,义、3圣、节制;
But hospitable, a lover of good, of a sober mind, righteous, holy, self-controlled;
1:9 1 a坚守那按照使徒2教训3 b可信靠的话,好能用4 c健康的教训劝勉人,又能5使那些6 d反对的人知罪自责。
Holding to the faithful word, which is according to the teaching of the apostles, that he may be able both to exhort by the healthy teaching and to convict those who oppose.

参 对付犹太教和智慧派的影响 一10~16

1:10 因为有许多人a不服约束,说b虚空的话,c欺哄人,1 d那些奉割礼的人更是这样,
For there are many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,
1:11 这些人的口必须1堵住;他们2 a为了卑鄙的利益,将b不当教导的事教导人,就倾覆了人的全c家。
Whose mouths must be stopped, who overthrow whole households, teaching things for the sake of base gain, which they ought not to do.
1:12 有革哩底人中间的一位,就是他们自己的1 a申言者,曾说,2 b革哩底人常是说谎的,乃是恶兽,3又馋又懒。
One from among themselves, a prophet of their own, said, Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, idle gluttons.
1:13 这个见证是真的;为这缘故,你要1 a严厉的2 b责备他们,使他们在3信仰上4 c健康,
This testimony is true; for which cause reprove them severely that they may be healthy in the faith,
1:14 不注意犹太人1 a虚构无稽之事,和2 b转离3 c真理之人的4 d诫命。
Not paying attention to Jewish myths and the commandments of men who turn away from the truth.
1:15 1对洁净的人,凡物都a洁净;但对2污秽不信的人,b什么都不洁净,反而连他们的3 c心思和良心,也都2污秽了。
All things are pure to the pure; yet to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.
1:16 他们1自称认识神,却在行为上a否认祂,本是b可憎恶的、c悖逆的,在各样善事上是2 d不蒙称许的。
They profess to know God, but by their works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient and, as to every good work, disapproved.
